O Elohim, Do Not Keep Silent

83:1  Do not keep silent, O Elohim!
Do not hold Your Shalom, And do not be still, O El!

83:2  For behold, Your enemies make a tumult;
And those who hate You have lifted up their head.

83:3  They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,
And consulted together against Your treasured ones.

83:4  They have said, "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be remembered no more."

83:5  For they have consulted together with one consent;
They form a confederacy against You:

83:6  The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites;
Moab and the Hagrites;

83:7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek;
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
83:8  Assyria also has joined with them;
They have helped the children of Lot.

83:9  Deal with them as with Midian,
As with Sisera,
As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,
83:10  Who perished at En Dor,
Who became as refuse on the earth.
83:11  Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb,
Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

 83:12  Who said,
"Let us take for ourselves The pastures of Elohim for a possession."

 83:13  O my Elohim, make them like the whirling dust,
Like the chaff before the wind!

83:14  As the fire burns the woods, And as the flame sets the mountains on fire,
 83:15  So pursue them with Your tempest, And frighten them with Your storm.

83:16  Fill their faces with shame,
That they may seek Your name, O YHWH.

83:17  Let them be confounded and dismayed forever;
Yes, let them be put to shame and perish,
 83:18  That they may know that You,
whose name alone is YHWH,
Are the Most High over all the earth.

Forsake Me Not When My Strength Is Spent
​Psalm 71: Aged

In You, YHVH, I put my trust;
Let me never be put to shame.

Deliver me in Your righteousness,
and cause me to escape;
Incline Your ear to me, and save me.

Be my strong refuge,
To which I may resort continually;
You have given the commandment to save me,
For You are my
rock
and
my fortress.

Deliver me,
O my Elohim,
out of the hand of the wicked,
Out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

For You are my hope,
O YHVH Elohim;
You are my trust from my youth.

By You I have been upheld from birth;
You are He who took me out of my mother's womb.

My praise shall be continually of You.
I have become as a wonder to many,
But You are my strong refuge.

Let my mouth be filled with
Your praise And with Your glory all the day.

Do not cast me off in the time of old age;
Do not forsake me when my strength fails.

For my enemies speak against me;
And those who lie in wait for my life take counsel together, Saying,
"Elohim has forsaken him";
Pursue and take him,
for there is none to deliver him."

O Elohim, do not be far from me;
O my Elohim, make haste to help me!

Let them be confounded and
consumed Who are adversaries of my life;
Let them be covered with reproach
and dishonor Who seek my hurt.

But I will hope continually,
And will praise You
yet more and more.

My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
And Your salvation all the day,
For I do not know their limits.

I will go in the strength of the YHVH Elohim;
I will make mention of Your righteousness,
of Yours only.

O Elohim, You have taught me from my youth;
And to this day I declare Your wondrous works.

Now also when I am old and gray headed,
O Elohim, do not forsake me,
Until I declare Your strength to this generation,
Your power to everyone who is to come.

Also Your righteousness, O Elohim, is very high,
You who have done great things; O Elohim, who is like You?

You, who have shown me great and severe troubles,
Shall revive me again,
And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

You shall increase my greatness,
And comfort me on every side.

Also with the lute I will praise You--
And Your faithfulness, O my God!

To You I will sing with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.

My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, And my soul, which You have redeemed.

My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; For they are confounded,
For they are brought to shame
