O God, Do Not Keep Silence
Psa 83:1  O Elohim, do not remain silent! Do not be speechless, And do not be still, O Ěl!
Psa 83:2  For look, Your enemies make an uproar, And those hating You have lifted up their head.
Psa 83:3  They craftily plot against Your people, And conspire against Your treasured ones.
Psa 83:4  They have said, “Come, And let us wipe them out as a nation, And let the name of Yisra’ěl be remembered no more.”
Psa 83:5  For they have conspired together with one heart; They have made a covenant against You –
Psa 83:6  The tents of Eḏom and the Yishma‛ělites, Mo’aḇ and the Haḡarites,
Psa 83:7  Geḇal, and Ammon, and Amalěq, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tsor,
Psa 83:8  Ashshur also has joined with them, They have helped the children of Lot. Selah.
Psa 83:9  Do to them as to Miḏyan, As to Sisera, As to Yaḇin at the wadi Qishon,
Psa 83:10  Who perished at Ěndor, Who became as dung for the ground.
Psa 83:11  Make their nobles like Orěḇ and like Ze’ěḇ, And all their princes like Zeḇaḥ and Tsalmunna,
Psa 83:12  Who have said, “Let us take possession of the pastures of Elohim For ourselves.”

Psa 83:13-18  O my Elohim, make them as whirling dust, As stubble before the wind!
As a fire consumes a forest, And as a flame sets mountains on fire,

So pursue them with Your whirlwind, And frighten them with Your storm.
Fill their faces with shame, And let them seek Your Name, a O יהוה.

Let them be ashamed and alarmed forever; And let them become abashed and perish,
And let them know that You, Whose Name is יהוה,
You alone are the Most High over all the earth.

Psa 44:21-22,

Psa 44:20  If we have forgotten the Name of our Elohim, Or stretched out our hands to a foreign mighty one,
Psa 44:21  Would Elohim not search this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.
Psa 44:22  But for Your sake we are killed all day long; Reckoned as sheep for the slaughter.
Psa 44:23  Awake! Why do You sleep, O יהוה? Arise! Do not reject us forever.
Psa 44:24  Why do You hide Your face, Ignoring our affliction and our oppression?
Psa 44:25  For our being is bowed down to the dust; Our body cleaves to the earth.
Psa 44:26  Arise, be our help, And redeem us for Your loving-commitment’ sake.

Psa 74:18,
Psa 74:18  Remember this: the enemy has reproached יהוה, And a foolish people has despised Your Name.
Psa 74:19  Do not give the being of Your turtledove to the wild beast! Do not forget the life of Your afflicted ones forever.
Psa 74:20  Look to the covenant, For the dark places of the earth are filled With haunts of violence.
Psa 74:21  Let not the crushed one return ashamed! Let the poor and needy praise Your Name.
Psa 74:22  Arise, O Elohim, plead Your own cause, Remember how the foolish man reproaches You daily.
Psa 74:23  Do not forget the voice of Your enemies, The uproar of those rising up against You increases continually.

Isa 52:5,
The Lord's Coming SalvationIsa 52:1   Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Tsiyon, put on your garments of splendour, O Yerushalayim, the set-apart city! For no more do the uncircumcised and the unclean come into you.
Isa 52:2  Shake yourself from the dust, arise, and sit down, O Yerushalayim. Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Tsiyon!
Isa 52:3  For thus said יהוה, “You have been sold for naught, and you are redeemed not with silver.”
Isa 52:4  For thus said the Master יהוה, “At first My people went down into Mitsrayim to sojourn there, and Ashshur oppressed them without cause.
Isa 52:5  “And now, what have I here,” declares יהוה,
“that My people are taken away for naught?
Those who rule over them make them wail,
” declares יהוה, “and My Name is despised (a) all day continually.

Isa 52:6  “Therefore My people shall know My Name, in that day, for I am the One who is speaking. See, it is I.”

Jer 23:26-27.
Jer 23:23  “Am I an Elohim close by,” declares יהוה, “and not an Elohim afar off?
Jer 23:24  “If anyone is hidden in secret places, would I not see him?” declares יהוה. “Do I not fill the heavens and earth?” declares יהוה.
Jer 23:25  “I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy falsehood in My Name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’
Jer 23:26  “Till when shall it be in the heart of the prophets? – the prophets of falsehood and prophets of the deceit of their own heart,
Jer 23:27  who try to make My people forget My Name by their dreams which everyone relates to his neighbour, as their fathers forgot My Name for Ba‛al.
Jer 23:28  “The prophet who has a dream, let him relate the dream, and he who has My Word, let him speak My Word in truth. What is the chaff to the wheat?” declares יהוה.
Jer 23:29  “Is not My Word like a fire?” declares יהוה, “and like a hammer that shatters a rock?
Jer 23:30  “Therefore see, I am against the prophets,” declares יהוה, “who steal My Words every one from his neighbour.
Jer 23:31  “See, I am against the prophets,” declares יהוה, “who use their tongues and say, ‘He declares.’
Jer 23:32  “See, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” declares יהוה, “and relate them, and lead My people astray by their falsehoods and by their reckless boasting. But I Myself did not send them nor have I commanded them. And they do not profit this people at all,” declares יהוה.
Jer 23:33  “And when these people or the prophet or the priest ask you, saying, ‘What is the message of יהוה?’ then you shall say to them, ‘What message?’ I shall forsake you,” declares יהוה.
Jer 23:34  “As for the prophet and the priest and the people who say, ‘The message of יהוה,’ I shall punish that man and his house.
Jer 23:35  “This is what each one says to his neighbour, and each one to his brother, ‘What has יהוה answered?’ and, ‘What has יהוה spoken?’
Jer 23:36  “But the message of יהוה you no longer remember! For every man’s message is his own word, for you have changedf the Words of the living Elohim, יהוה of hosts, our Elohim! Footnote: fOr overthrown. See Isa 24:5.
Jer 23:37  “This is what you say to the prophet, ‘What has יהוה answered you?’ and, ‘What has יהוה spoken?’
Jer 23:38  “But since you say, ‘The message of יהוה!’ therefore thus said יהוה, ‘Because you say this word, “The message of יהוה!” and I have sent to you, saying, “Do not say, ‘The message of יהוה!’ ”
Jer 23:39  therefore see, I, I shall utterly forget you and cast you away from My presence, along with the city that I gave you and your fathers.
Jer 23:40  And I shall put an everlasting reproach on you, and an everlasting shame that is not forgotten.’ ”

The Fall of Jerusalem 586BC Jeremiah 59:1-2

In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem, and besieged it.

In the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, on the ninth day
of the month, the city was penetrated.

The Fall of Jerusalem 586BC Recounted Jeremiah 52:1-6

Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.

His mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

He also did evil in the sight of the LORD,
according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

For because of the anger of the LORD this happened in Jerusalem and Judah,
till He finally cast them out from His presence.
Then Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

Now it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem and encamped against it; and they built a siege wall against it all around.

So the city was besieged until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.

By the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the famine had become so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land.

Now in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month (which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon), Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, who served the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

He burned the house of the LORD and the king's house; all the houses of Jerusalem, that is, all the houses of the great, he burned with fire.

Psalm 30:11-13
Hear, O LORD, and have mercy on me; LORD, be my helper!"

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,

To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.

O LORD my God,
I will give thanks to You forever.

Jeremiah Response is Lamentations
Ending in Chapter 5

Restore Us to Yourself,
O Lord Remember,
O LORD,
what has come upon us;
Look, and behold our reproach!

Our inheritance has been turned over to aliens,
And our houses to foreigners.

We have become orphans and waifs,
Our mothers are like widows.

We pay for the water we drink,
And our wood comes at a price.

They pursue at our heels;
We labor and have no rest.

We have given our hand to the Egyptians And the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.

Our fathers sinned and are no more,
But we bear their iniquities.

Servants rule over us;
There is none to deliver us from their hand.

We get our bread at the risk of our lives,
Because of the sword in the wilderness.

Our skin is hot as an oven,
Because of the fever of famine.

They ravished the women in Zion,
The maidens in the cities of Judah.

Princes were hung up by their hands,
And elders were not respected.

Young men ground at the millstones;
Boys staggered under loads of wood.

The elders have ceased gathering at the gate,
And the young men from their music.

The joy of our heart has ceased;
Our dance has turned into mourning.

The crown has fallen from our head.
Woe to us, for we have sinned!

Because of this our heart is faint;
Because of these things our eyes grow dim;

Because of Mount Zion which is desolate,
With foxes walking about on it.

You, O LORD, remain forever;
Your throne from generation to generation.

Why do You forget us forever,
And forsake us for so long a time?

Turn us back to You, O LORD,
and we will be restored;
Renew our days as of old,

Unless You have utterly rejected us,
And are very angry with us!
